What IESTC did in 2008
In 2008, the IESTC went through a great transition. The goals of the association chapter changed and we found our identity in the very community we live in and serve. We not only began contacting local businesses and other associated chapters for collaboration, we were able to make a great difference in our selected community service project, the Riverside County Animal Shelter, donating over $2000 to those little animals.About your new Board of Directors
Mike Sanders is a senior member of STC, past Vice President and President of IESTC, and is also immediate past President of the Riverside Chapter of Project Management Institute. Ann Lovell was the 2008 Secretary of IESTC. Mike Lunde was the 2008 Vice President, Membership for IESTC. Marylynn Magill is a senior member of STC and past Vice President and President of IESTC.Our 2009 Goals
The 2009 goals of IESTC is to reinitiate its relationship with UC Riverside and begin interacting with and provide seminars at local, large corporations. We hope to increase our membership through the local colleges and leverage the senior members of our Chapter for mentorship of the writers just entering or recently entering the job market. We also plan to continue the charitable work of IESTC with the Riverside Counter Animal Shelter. You will be proud to know that your Chapter raised over $2000 for this organization in 2008.Special Thanks to the 2008 Board of Directors
